Each year in October Heritage Perth holds a weekend full of free activities for Perth locals and visitors to explore the history and heritage of Perth in interesting and fun ways. This year the Museum of Perth will be participating too, with a temporary exhibition about the History of Barrack Street.

Saturday will be the first day the Museum will be open to the public, so make sure you grab the chance to be one of the first to step foot into the new Museum space. The Museum's Henry Saw cafe is open - so have one of the best coffee's in town and take a walk back into time exploring the history of Perth and Barrack Street.

More details about the Perth Heritage Days 2015 can be found on the Heritage Perth website.

Opening times: 10am-2pm

Entrance fee: Donation to the Museum of Perth
