Nicholas Jones
Nick Jones is a Project Supervisor with the Museum of Perth. Born and raised in Western Australia, he has family roots in Geraldton, and first joined the Museum of Perth as a Work for the Dole participant and volunteer. The experience and confidence he then gained with us inspired him to complete a degree in Creative Writing at Curtin University.
In 2025 he returned to the Museum as a staff member, bringing with him experience in community engagement, advocacy and support roles. His background includes work as a Peer Educator with the Freedom Centre, LGBTQIA+ advocacy at Curtin University, and as a Community Health Officer with WAAC.
Nick is known for his curiosity, kindness, and genuine interest in people, and seeks to improve the day of any person who crosses his path. He also believes everyone has a story worth hearing.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys cinema, comics, and lengthy video essays exploring obscure corners of pop culture.
