Charlotte Whincup joined the Museum of Perth staff in early 2022, working at their Bunbury office for the Streets of Bunbury project.
Before moving to Bunbury she and her husband lived and worked underground in Coober Pedy, South Australia, opal mining and working in an opal shop. They had eleven great fun filled years there with many unusual stories to tell!
She is a member of the Bunbury Oral History Group and is passionate about promoting their collection.
