1976 Champion Swimmers of Brigidine College

Just before the holidays Brigidine Sister Dorothea Hickey flew over from Sydney to spend a few weeks with her family in Perth... and to visit our new Archives!

Dorothea brought with her some wonderful photographs to donate, which has *significantly* enlarged our Photographic Collection - in particular for three of Newman College's antecedent schools: St Joseph’s Brigidine Primary School which was in Subiaco/Wembley; Our Lady of Victories Primary School which was in Wembley; and Brigidine College, which was in Peebles Road, Floreat.

These images are currently being processed and will comprise the Dorothea Hickey Collection.

We're so grateful Dorothea had spent many, many hours, diligently recording the names of a lot of the people in these beautiful images and, while here, we were thrilled that she spent time with us naming more of the rest!

It was so lovely to meet her, and we're looking forward to sharing these images with you! We thought we'd start with this one: the 1976 Champion Swimmers of Brigidine College, and seem to be of all ages from Years 8 to 12 (1976-1980 Leavers). They are all unidentified though, and we need your help!

Do you know who they are?
