Lucky kid : a memoir of Corrigin and Narrogin
Roy Criddle.

Publisher
Western Australia : Roy Criddle | 2016

Summary
A boy growing up in WA country after WWII.
I was the luck kid in our 7 child family line-up. The hardships of the Great Depression while the family lived in Tenindewa happened before I was born and the traumas of World War II were over by the time I was aware of the World around me. In Corrigin I was lucky to be a boy in a real country town with a good school. My luck just went on when we moved to Narrogin for my ‘growing up years’. A new Senior High School opened in time for me to sit my Junior Certificate and, with the financial support of a Teaching Bursary, I was able to remain at school another two years to complete the Leaving Certificate.
Yes, I was indeed a lucky Kid.
